Yay, the APA lovers are growing in number all the time!

Yeah, imported it from amazon when it was released in america - have loved it ever since.

I love this album, I think it just got released at totally the wrong time! After the divorce and all that, she was out partying all the time and I think people went off her a bit. She should of released it around this time.

 

Overall its a great album! Love- I belong to me, B.O.Y, Fired Up and You Spin me are all great singles!

 

Fired up is one of my fave songs shes ever done! If she released that with a good video, would of done amazing. Great club track! :wub:

 

I love her and everything, but I do think her voice has got worst than it used to be. She sometimes shouts when she sings live now, but I still love her :wub:

The album is one of the popiest albums I have ever heard! I love it

Each Jessica album has got worse since her first one. I absolutely loved 'Sweet Kisses' and really enjoyed 'Irresistable' :wub:. With 'In this skin' I liked a few songs, but her voice started to go weird on this album (she started singing in a different style which I really hate and makes her sound much worse a singer than she is). 'A Public Affair' I can't even listen too, with the exception of 'I don't want to care' and 'I belong to me'.

 

I long for the old Jessica to come back. I keep hoping the next album will be good, but she keeps dissappointing :(.

For me, Jessica's worst album by FAR. I LOVED Jessica's first 3 albums so much, couldn't wait for this to come out, and when it did it was meh. The whole project was f***ed up for the following reasons:-

 

1. They let Jess write her own songs.

2. There's ALOT of 'borrowing'.

3. The album is a bit all over the place, a bit of everything can be good but there is a blatent divide in genre in this album I feel.

4. They didn't include I Belong To Me in the US version (I have it I love Jess that much that I imported it as soon as it was out in the US).

5. They released it at all different times all over the world, which has GREATLY affected the sales.

 

 

 

I do love Jess, but this album is really boring, too much filler for me. I do like APA, Fired Up and I Belong To Me, but the rest is c**p :(. Even I Belong To Me is a rip off of We Belong Together. I really like Jess so I hope her next album is better! Sweet Kisses was amazing, Irresistable was ok, and In This Skin was just :wub:. It's not all Jess' fault though, I think the label went totally the wrong way with this album!
