Since the OCC are allowing pre-physical download sales into the charts, it has been a good indication of how a song will possibly do the following week upon their physical release.

Rihanna and Gnarls Barkley have been perfect examples of this.

However, Chicane is currently struggling to go top 75 on downloads only thus giving an indication that this might miss top 10 next week. I hope this is not true as its a really good song and I was hoping Tom Jones' notoriety would give this a boost. I only hope I can be proved wrong!!!!

I don't agree. You are mis-informed about that.

Infernal was no where on downloads last Thursday, on the Friday/Saturday it blast into the charts.

Chicane is behind beatfreaks, but I'm expect Chicane to just go Top50, maybe Top40 on downloads and then Top20 next week, even when it's a REALLY tough week. And for sure, this is a major time for lots of good new records.

Oh ok like I said I hope im proved wrong it deserves to do well. Hope youre right about it going top 40 downloads only this week.
im guessing about #14, blame radio for not touching it. Not playlisted on Galaxy or Kiss which are dance stations, let alone pop ones. Radio one plays it about 3 times a week.

Think it could be the fact that Tom Jones is credited on the single, that might have put a spanner in the works!!!!!

maybe because it's not very good and just like Bryan Adams

The song is just fabulous, and most people that have actually heard it really like it. It just needed more support and airplay

Agreed. The song is marvellous shame it hasnt been promoted properly.

The question now, is will it make the cut for being stocked by woolworths next week?

BANG BANG YOU'RE DEAD - Dirty Pretty Things (Vertigo)

YOU'RE ALL I HAVE - Snow Patrol (Fiction)

BLACK OR WHITE - Michael Jackson (Epic)
