Maybe no release of it then :( This is what they said today, though i hope they do released it still, good news they've been signed so we'll get an album :D

 

Orange County band Midnight Hour have joined the Interscope Records family. The band had this to say about the signing:

Last night at about 6 pm we, Midnight Hour, signed a record deal with Interscope records! (I'm still pinching myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming!) So, as you can imagine, this changes our plans (for the better)! As many of you know, we were planning on releasing the Ghost in the Mirror EP very soon. Now I'm pretty sure that EP will never see the light of day. We recorded it, planned on putting it out, and even sent it to pressing, but when our current label heard it, things changed! They want to put the songs on their record (understandably). So we will be heading back into the studio early next year to record an as yet untitled full-length album! Then it's time to TOUR TOUR TOUR!!! So until then we will be hunkered down in the studio writing, demoing, and recording. Sorry to those of you waiting for it -- you will just have to wait a little longer for more Midnight Hour music, and I hope we can make it worth the wait!

UPDATE:

 

Sorry for the lack of updates lately! But you can rest assured we have been hard at work writing and demoing songs for the new record. We are getting closer and closer to hitting the nail on the head regarding what songs this record will include, who will produce it, and when we will be recording. More news will come soon.

 

On another front, I uploaded some live recordings we did in New York City for your listening pleasure, including a live version of Running Away. Those should show up soon after Myspace finishes "processing" them.

 

Also, our episode of Ghost Whisperer is re-airing this Friday, June 29, so tune in to CBS and enjoy the music and show.
