July 23, 200717 yr Author hello!! update: once again beautiful liar in its 16th week is at #16 and the good news is music week has given up official sales data in thor report we know it sold 5,456 last week, the public keep on buying thanks to them the total sales so far is now 265,954 making beekira 6th biggest seller of the year but it is about to leap up to 4th either this week or next week :cheer:

July 31, 200717 yr Author yep big fall this week, it had to happen :rolleyes: we in week 17 and beautiful liar is down to #22. even though they are at #22 beyonce & shakira only had a minimal sales dip selling 5k cause position #19 sold 5,362 (source music week) so another healthy 5k to add to total taking us to.....270,954 right bang in the middle of bracket 4 :D bracket 5 should be entered in 3 weeks time :cheer:

August 9, 200717 yr Author in 3 or 4 weeks time they'll climb to #4, they will settle there for a bit. however its comeback city this autumn/winter could the new britney, kylie, mariah, whitney, madonna singles storm up and shake things up in the top10? not forgeting reality tv "acts" x-facor winner :puke2: summer sales tend to be the lowest of the year, the big hitters could be coming september onwards... August 10, 200717 yr I think the two that will knock them down a couple will be X factor winner and Leona possibly. Britney, Kylie, Madonna, Mariah, and Whitney, big comebacks scheduled for this year but I reckon a few of those will be postponed untill 2008 and any of the ones that do come back will be too late to sell enough to go Top 5...my theory...
August 13, 200717 yr Author could be, i see britney under performing if she releases this year her people need to put it back til early next year her so she can get her life together cause it will over shadow anything she releases whitney more of an album seller rather than singles, hasn't had a big single seller since i think "my love is your love" so she may not do much damage. but bet on madonna she's got the number 1 producer it will be huge with her timbaland & justin track. 300k+ seller imo kylie too people want her to do well and support her comeback so she can release anything and it should sell buckets. mariah does she still have huge single selling power? i can't remember how much WBT sold here but with a really strong song she could do great things, but it has to be special. spice girls are they releasing a single? or is it just a tour? if they release a single then they have some potential but their time may be over leona i still think she has no star quality, plus she hasn't proved herself so its make or break with her she will need an amazing song to make up for her lack of personality and presence but she will do massive blanket promo here so she could sell loads and get that huge tv audience to buy her again x-factor winner will no dount in the top3 easy what about the fellas!? usher? very unlikely he isn't that strong, who else? i can't think of many guys coming back this year, its all about the females

August 20, 200717 yr Author update: week 20 beyonce & shakira have fallen to #42 goodbye to the top40. according to musicweek position #20 was selling 6,516 and position #75 John Lennon sold 1,450 so how much would position #42 sell? my guesstimate would be 2.8k taking their total to 280,335. we have entered bracket 5!! i repeat the entering of bracket 5 has taken place yes it has. well done to the 7 peopole that chose this bracket i didn't think they could reach this amount way back when but they did and to think without doing any promo work either onto another matter....i don't want to scare everyone but kate nash is chasing beekira!! hard!! she could challenge shakbee in the year to date sales :o she is fast approaching 200k could she have enough momentum to catch them? we'll see :coffee:
August 29, 200717 yr Author week 21 and a big fall this week from 42 to 68, the inevitable had to happen and it looks like next week the track will leave the top75. based on musicweek figures position 60 Newton Faulkner sold 1,770 and position 71 Johnny Trunk & Wisbey sold 1,644 so BL sold around 1,680 add that to the total we have 282,015. it looks like the song will settle in bracket 5, hopefully in early january we will know the YTD sales for BL
August 31, 200717 yr Greenlight took away from BL's sales I think. It was only the remix still selling on iTunes and then the Greenlight remix came along and it's much better than BL so people swapped to that :P
