The title "Ride The Storm".... Got a bit of a double-edge meaning though dunnit... Considering that Jessica Alba's character in Fantastic Four is called Susan Storm Richards    Mind you, the Human Torch is called Johnny Storm.....

aha Alba without a doubt ;)

Hmmm, know that for sure do you....? :P

I bet Webbe never even wrote the song himself anyway.... So, the actual writer of the lyrics could be a gay man.... :P

Simon did actually write it, with his guitarist. ^_^

...

Maybe they're both gay?

Never usually watch the lottery show but saw Simon on it last night.

Thought the song OK. He looked pretty cool too.

Aye he was on the lottery, he sang live too, which is also a plus. I only caught the last minute or so though <_< but he seemed to deliver a pretty sound performance from what I saw, although maybe a little shakey on the lower notes, but hey he does well to get so low.

Just seen the Video for Ride the Storm on the Sun website, its quite impressive B)

I love ''Grace'' but RTS is so outdated and pure awful :manson:

Nah. I dont like it.

But i am a slight fan lol.

like alot of his other stuff :D

At least people seem to like Grace, as its clearly better than RTS, but I feel more promo & work is going into RTS :( because of the film.

Grace needs to be heard as this is really the song that is going to sell as the double A side.

Okay, so I saw Simon live last night at Harrogate International Centre and I must say it was one of the best nights ever. He held it together perfectly, his voice sounded amazing and kept everyone entertained. He also generously stayed behind to sign CD's afterwards, & yes I did meet him, he's even more beautiful in real life.

Well worth the money, everything I expected and more. Such a down to earth, courteous and talented man deserves every success, and I hope to God, Grace and RTS can reward him with that once again.

I think im one of a few people who really likes this. I only heard it once today and loved it
Grace is a really nice song but I'm not keen on Ride The Storm. What's with all the b/w videos- he's done 3 already!

Simon Webbe is on 'The New Paul O'Grady Show' at 5p.m. on Channel 4 tonight :)

Julie

anyone else seen this frankly terrifying promo pic? http://www.simonwebbe.net/ridethestorm/images/bg.jpg thankfully it's not the single sleeve, that's a heartwarming picture of him looking thoughtful by a fire or something. Sounds better than I describe it.

I didn't know Simon was on Paul's show tomorrow. Will be watching that.

I hope this single does the trick for him and revives the album.

Sorry Val, you've missed him - he was on tonight! :( DARIUS IS ON TOMORROW!!

Simon sang RTS live and it was really good!! Yet again I prefer the live version to the recorded version!!

I think it is better than anything else he has done - I hope it does well for him!

Oh D*** :(

Well I wanted to see both of them anyway, so at least I'll catch Darius tomorrow.

Will the performance be put up on YouTube do you think.

Thanks. That was a very good performance. I wasn't too keen on this song when I first heard it, but I have to say it is growing on me
I've just heard this song for the first time, I actually like it, its different from his previous material, but I'm a sucker for Rock ballads, this is clearly a rock ballad
