World Cup song release date unveiled

This year's official World Cup song, Embrace's World At Your Feet, will be released through Independiente on June 5.

 

The track was previewed this morning on Radio One's Chris Moyles show at 8am, while Embrace lead singer Danny MacNamara and Moyles gave a handful of revellers in a north London pub to the first live airing of the song last night.

 

Embrace were announced as the Football Association’s choice just three weeks ago in a week which saw the act's latest album This New Day, the follow up to their double platinum selling album Out Of Nothing, hit number one in the UK albums chart.

 

World At Your Feet will be available as two CDs and 7-inch single, with details of additional tracks to be announced shortly.

 

 

 

 

I missed the first play on Moyles show this morning as I slept in, but I herad it on Jo Whiley's show and its a good song, but I don't think that the England fan's will be singing it in Germany.

The song is awful.

 

Embrace truly have hit new lows.

It's no good for crowd sing-a-longs but it is a great anthemic pop-rock record.

 

But I love it!
