In the UK?... Because it wasn't released physically, only on downloads, it did well for a download release though, stuck around for quite long ^_^

It's an outstanding song. I ADORE the 40's. A good percentage of my music collection is people like Etta James, Billie Holiday, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, The Andrews Sisters etc.

I'd say a good percentage of Christina fans are young teen. They have no experience of this kind of music, and thus no real appreciation for the theme she went for.

I loved the oldies long before I heard CM, maybe it's why I love it so much.

I think people are getting tired of this 1950 thing...
Christina always does well with downloads though - like in the US, Candyman sold quite a lot but radio dont seem brave enough to pick it up -_-
hmm i dunno! it was physically released here and its been top 10 for a while, at the moment its been number 2 for 2 weeks.. i hoope she kicks of avril with that gay song.

Im sure she can  Candyman is undoubtedly her best single choice since Fighter!

coz people are idiots, lol.

i honestly dont know, i think it could have been top 5, top 3 even if it was physically released, i adore the song. such a shame!

I mentioned it in another post...Candyman did well on everything but radio play, the video was a hit, and it sold over 500k in the US on downloads, the only problem was the absence of radio play, it is a shame, it would have looked nicer being higher than 25, but it was still a hit, i mean half a million people purchased it, thats not bad at all, considering the lack of radio airplay.
I don't know what it did in the charts but everybody loved and still loves it!
It was one of the songs that I first loved from B2B, I still do. It's in my top 5 songs from the album for sure. It's a shame it didn't have the commerical success it deserved :(
If it was released properly then it would have gone top 10 easily, maybe even top 5.
