Posted May 24, 200718 yr Jazz songstress and recent newlywed Amy Winehouse has scooped this year’s Best Contemporary Song for Rehab at prestigious Ivor Novello Awards. The north London-born performer flew in especially for the occasion as she is working on a new video in Los Angeles. Collecting her award, she joked to the audience: “Thank you all very much, I didn’t even have time to get drunk, I’ve only been here about 15 minutes.” She also briefly mentioned her recent wedding in Florida to Blake Fielder-Civil. “It was all very sudden but that’s the way I am. I had a lovely dress and he looked very handsome,” she said. “We’re not planning a honeymoon, every day is a honeymoon, I’ve married the best man in the world.”
