Posted May 24, 200718 yr Elvis Auction At The Fame Bureau's Rock n Roll Circus Many of Elvis Presley's personal items will be auctioned on June 2nd at The Fame Bureau's Rock n Roll Circus sale in Las Vegas. Amongst the items will be Elvis's Harley davidson Golf Buggy, His gold St Christopher pendant rare letters and notes in his handwriting and a musical manuscript for Blue Suede Shoes from the 68 comeback special signed by Elvis and his companions that day, and many many more precious items. All the items can be seen on www.thefamebureau.com (Lots 356-388) An example is Lot 372 Elvis Presley – Handwritten song listing for the Today Album B) This remarkable note in Elvis Presley's hand on ‘Taking Care of Business'(TCB) letterhead paper gives instructions to Charlie Hodge to ‘get the arrangements for the RCA recording session for March 10 – and any others you come up with' The track listing also in Elvis' hand includes all the songs that eventually appears on the ‘Today' album so obviously Charlie didn't come up with any others. The Lot also includes a letter from Charlie Hodge authenticating the note and stating it's history £4,000-6,000 Lot 378 This Framed and glazed full colour print of June Kelly's famous painting of Elvis was given to Elvis' producer Felton Jarvis by Elvis himself. Elvis has written " To Felton, I can't thank you enough for all the help you've given me and I'm always looking forward to the next time, your friend Elvis" £9,000-10,000 Hope my lottery numbers come up on Saturday :dance:
