Posted May 26, 200718 yr Well, I know you guys are tired of my constant KAT threads, but there won't be anymore for atleast a week ( :P ). I just wanted to let all of the Kat fans from Europe & Austrailia know that she is planning on releasing her debut album and single to the UK this Summer! She announced it at a tour venue in Seattle and talked about how she was excited in expanding her fan base! There has been no word on the first single or the release date of the album, but all we know is that it will be released by the end of the Summer! So keep your fingers crossed that she finds success internationally!
May 26, 200718 yr YAY! :D I love her album and am pretty sure it will do ok...especially 'Over It' because it's a bit like JoJo's 'Too Little, Too Late' IMO.
May 29, 200718 yr It's already available in the UK, only £9.99! http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProduct...&sku=612265 http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/RCA87983.2.JPG Feb 2007 Katharine McPhee has a cloudless voice and a warm, wide-eyed Alice in Wonderland quality that won her swarms of fans on American Idol's fifth season, if Simon Cowell had a ready antonym for "ghastly," there's little room for doubt about which contestant he would have applied it to. While debates over whether McPhee's considerable grace and talent should have won her the TV competition rage on across the Idol-viewing landscape, one thing's certain: she's made a debut album good enough to render such determinations meaningless. Katharine McPhee is an R&B-leaning pop disc that pulls the urgency and tenderness out of her voice and pins it smack in the center of each song. The slickly produced opener "Love Story" displays a certain swagger, and "Not Ur Girl" and "Open Toes" follow it up with still more spunk and attitude (something some McPhans asked to see more of on AI). If there's a crisp, smartly maneuvered Christina Aguilera-meets-Beyoncé-and-Mariah sensibility at work in those songs, the ballads belong to McPhee alone. "Somewhere over the Rainbow" made her a star on TV; "Ordinary World" and "Better off Alone" have the staying power to make her a star in music.

June 2, 200718 yr Author I think it should be in this order since it will start at the end of Summer: 1.Love Story 2.Open Toes 3.Over It 4.Dangerous
June 2, 200718 yr Nope, she needs to start with a bang over here if she wants success. She should go like this: 1. Open Toes 2. Love Story 3. Over It 4. Dangerous ^_^
June 2, 200718 yr I think by the time she gets round to releasing here, she'll be well into the 2nd single in America, so she should sync it, ie: 1. America only - Over It 2. Everywhere - Love Story 3. Everywhere - Open Toes 4. Everywhere - Dangerous
June 3, 200718 yr Oh I'd love if her CD were released here in Brazil; anyway Over It is getting some small airplay here Her album is flawless IMO the singles order should be 1- Open Toes 2- Dangerous 3- Love Story 4- Over It Edited June 3, 200718 yr by Rafa_Lemos
