April 21, 200619 yr Grrr they're not putting the semi on Radio 2 again  I don't get BBC Three but at least this year I'll have broadband to watch it online, it was very inconvenient last time lol. The program on 16th looks good and as for the 20th well :cheer: it's gonna be great!
April 21, 200619 yr Btw Rob you get BBC, ITV1 etc don't you do you watch the Eurovision on BBC1 or RTE1?
April 22, 200619 yr Author Btw Rob you get BBC, ITV1 etc don't you do you watch the Eurovision on BBC1 or RTE1? I used to always watch it one RTE1, but I've defected to the Beeb in the last few years as Terry can be really funny sometimes - I remember him calling Chiara "a fine lump of a woman" last year  We also get the semi-final shown on proper tv too (RTE2, our BBC2) :funky:
April 22, 200619 yr We also get the semi-final shown on proper tv too (RTE2, our BBC2) :funky: <_< Well that's fair enough I suppose you're always in it we never will be! :P
April 22, 200619 yr Author <_< Well that's fair enough I suppose you're always in it we never will be! :P It just means we can potentially get to perform twice ;)
April 23, 200619 yr It just means we can potentially get to perform twice ;) It's actually really unfair how a country like Ireland or Netherlands isn't guaranteed a place in the final. They've been in the ESC for over 40 years (?) yet they can get pushed out by a relatively new country who might never have been in it before.
April 28, 200619 yr Wasn't the semi-final on Wednesday in other years  It was Wednesday in 2004, but last year it was a Thursday.
April 29, 200619 yr Author It was Wednesday in 2004, but last year it was a Thursday. Oh right, I thought it was a Tues in 2004 and then a Wed last year ;)
April 29, 200619 yr ireland should automatically go through, hope the eurovision is in england or ireland next year
April 30, 200619 yr I shan't be watching if it's on the same time as BB. -_- <_< I'll be watching both :P Eurovision on the internet and I'll have BB on next to me :cheer:
April 30, 200619 yr I used to always watch it one RTE1, but I've defected to the Beeb in the last few years as Terry can be really funny sometimes - I remember him calling Chiara "a fine lump of a woman" last year  We also get the semi-final shown on proper tv too (RTE2, our BBC2) :funky: so who does the commentry for ireland? is it done very seriously?
April 30, 200619 yr Author so who does the commentry for ireland? is it done very seriously? Marty Whelan. It's done in pretty much the same manner, but he's rather dull. Thankfully he doesn't talk over the performances either
April 30, 200619 yr Marty Whelan. It's done in pretty much the same manner, but he's rather dull. Thankfully he doesn't talk over the performances either I remember watching the Juinior ESC a few years back with Tara PT doing the commentary, she was awful - talking over the presenters, performances :puke2: when Wogan stops doing the British commentary it will never be the same again.
May 18, 200619 yr I watched the Boom Banh A Bang. They showed clips of other countries entries in this years Eurovision. Begiums entry sounded very good, could be the winner <_< Finlands entry is unusual, kind of like Marilyn Mansun Meets Darth Vader!! The last time we entered a rap song into the Eurovison song contest was in 1995 with Love City Groove and we came 7th.
