I know that pretty much EVERYONE on here will hate it (I know I do) but this bunch of OAPs with a combined age of over 3000 have become quite the cult recently.

It's a cover of the classic Who song and is released tomorrow. They performed on The Graham Norton Show last week, they have a whole 1 hour program on BBC2 dedicated to them on Monday night and the video has managed to get 2 million views on youtube in just a month.

I do hope this flops on its arse but I can't see it :manson:

With Umbrella still doing good business on downloads and the physical release being the same day, I think your fears can be safely allayed. Actually, the download of this travesty was released last week, and I didn't see it troubling the top 100 midweek chart and the song has already had plenty of publicity. Hype can only get you so far, we do have ears you know. In fact, if you're so disinterested in it, why even bother raising the issue? You're only giving it far more attention than it deserves..
The "leadsinger" has only 3 teeth!

so does Shane McGowan from the Pogues

Why should people be banned from the charts just because of their age. If enough people buy it then it should chart. Even though I don't like it.

Ageism is just as bad as racism.

I do hope they re-release the original by The Who. It's the original Mod classic anthem.

For anyone to young to have heard the original, you can listen to it HERE

They have as much right to be in the charts as rubbish such as the stupid Crazy Frog, Bob The Builder, Teletubbies etc in the charts.

At least these are real people.

I really don't see how you can 'hate' it...
