Posted May 28, 200718 yr Singer/songwriter in the 1980’s, I just loved her songs, Marlene on the wall, left of centre and Luka (a song about child abuse). It needed hiphop act DNA to transform her song “ Tom’s diner” into a dance track which gave her her biggest hit. Her record company were going to sue them but Vega was flattered by their version and allowed it, it reached #2. An underestimated artist. Luka -a really sad song fDBGia0CNuo :( Marlene on the wall eGslAD8J7fI
May 28, 200718 yr I saw her live at Oxegen a couple of years ago - can't remember much about it but it was pretty pleasant and tonnes better than the f***in' Ordinary Boys playing next door.
May 28, 200718 yr I have her Greatest Hits CD, a great singer-songwriter. She has a new album coming out later to this year which i posted about some weeks ago.
