June 3, 200718 yr Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2005 edition, Saw 1 & 2, House of wax, Wilderness, Wrong turn... any of these are good. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a good one
June 3, 200718 yr Wilderness - Pretty excellent little low-budget Brit Indie flick.... Think of a cross between "Lord of The Flies", "Scum", "Lost", "Cujo" and just about every 'slasher film' you've ever seen, then you're pretty close... And any film with Sean Pertwee is worth checking out anyway.... Wilderness sounds very good actually. Is only about £5 as well in Play, so I think i'll be checking that one out. :o
June 5, 200718 yr 'Mysery' one definatly one of the best horror/thrillers ever imo, just got it on DVD today. Saw it years ago, but am going to watch it again tonight :D I got it in a triple pack along with Shallow Grave and Kalifornia. Two films I have yet to see. Anyone know if they are any good?
June 5, 200718 yr Just don't watch Black Christmas complete and utter $h!t that was! The remake was awful... The 1971 original Canadian film has a really creepy, eerie atmosphere about it, utterly lacking in that ridiculous remake... Yet again, disfigured mutanty-type freak-o "humans" making an appearance... Yeah, because of course a TOTALLY human Sociopathic serial sex-killer isn't actually scary enough, is it....? Naaaaaah <_<
June 7, 200718 yr The remake was awful... The 1971 original Canadian film has a really creepy, eerie atmosphere about it, utterly lacking in that ridiculous remake... If anyones passing Upper St Martins Lane in London go into the Cinema Store as you can get a few alright small guides of cult shockers and Giallo films by the midnight press that might show some good cult horrors from the 60s 70 and 80s http://www.fabpress.com/artwork/medium/SP135.jpg
