Does anyone watch this? Its sublime, best comedy in ages!

Anyway the season finale aired tonight. Amazing episode, the best of the series.

 

And G&S won two baftas tonight - one for best comedy, I think, and the other for James Corden in a best male comic role, but I think Ruth Jones as Nessa deserved it more. 'Wha's occurin?' is my new phrase! :heehee:

I love this show! :o was thinking about making a thread on it actually! haven't seen tonights ep yet off to watch it in a bit :D i agree great show, Julia Davis needs a bigger part though i love her :lol:

Fantastic show is Gavin & Stacey and a perfect ending to the series last night.

just looked on hmv website and the first series is only £8, im gonna get it

yeah its absoultey brilliant, Nessa is a fantastic character as is Pam! haha

Ruth Jones is brilliant!! Missed some of the second series, but the finale was tidy! ;)

 

There's group on facebook trying to Nessa and Bryn to release Islands in the stream as a christmas single!! :lol:

Apparently they might only be making two series so that might be the end of it excep a Christmas special :cry:

Forget The Office, forget the Royle Family this is the best comedy series since Father Ted IMHO.

 

I've been a big fan of this show since Series 1 aired on BBC3 last year.

 

Little wonder the third series of the Catherine Tate show was relatively awful as James Corden & Ruth Jones had their own project to write, and stopped writing skits for the actress who is annoying the hell out of most Dr Who fans at the moment.

Did James and Ruth write for the Catherine Tate show? :o I presume Mat Horne has.....

 

Horne and Corden are also doing a sketch show together according to the BBC, directed by Kathy Burke!!

 

 

Trust me to get into G & S right at the end. It is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a while.

I love it, only got round to watching the last episode last night, shame we never found out what did go on on the fishin trip!!

 

And can't believe there's been no real mention of Uncle Bryn, best sitcom characterof the last 10 years along with Jim and Nana Royle!

We watched two episodes in media.

 

The Princess Diana and Dodi Alfayed jokes were in such poor taste.

I just watched an episode of this on YouTube. Nessa is clearly a goddess of comedy, and Bryn is fantastic (but I love Rob Brydon anyway), but other than that, I don't get the big deal tbh.

Only just saw the first two episodes of this last night and the words WHY HAVE I OVERLOOKED THIS and FOR SO LONG spring to mind. Fantastic little show.
