Which proves that coke snorting whore Lindsay does have some form of Talent :D

:o Shes actually an excellent coke-snorter!

Love his movie, being a b**ch myself ;) This is right up my street. Lindsay Lohan is great, shame about her off-screen issues at the moment though :(
I have it on DVD twice, Special edition too :o

One of the best teen movies of the 21st Century without doubt.

Much better than Bring It On etc etc.

Bring It On is great. however the film's franchise has been slightly soiled by the dtv vershs. However bring it on is better than Get Over It  and its a pity that C4 arent showing that as a double bill tonight

"...that Kat Stratford, beware she's quite tough"

For everyone who seems to rate this film, I would suggest they search out the quite marvellous "Heathers", which this film rather shamelessly rips off.... "Mean Girls" doesn't have a tenth of the wit, cleverness or flair of "Heathers"... Lindsay Lohan doesn't even show as a blip on the radar next to Winona Ryder either... In fact check out just about any John Hughes teen flick from the 80s - "Sixteen Candles", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "The Breakfast Club" or "Pretty In Pink".... Minor classics.....

Never seen Heathers but its supposed to be excellent. However those John Hughes film got some of those a few months back, liked them esp Pretty In Pink (even tho i didnt quite get Duckie first time viewing it) and Ferris Bueller (v cool). And talking of Bueller think you gotta mention Election as that one of those films that so good you always end up watching it again on itv2

Has anyone seen Drop Dead Gorgeous starring Kirsten Dunst? If you love Mean Girls, you'll probably enjoy DDG as well.

Yeah DDG is a great spoof documentary type thing and almost as good as Best In Show

election was funny :P

i dont think im gonna be able to watch MG cos i might be going out to some stupid party

so your not actually in Portugal then.

Okay, i have to say that having never seen this before, and only having heard about it being a b!tchy teen movie, i wasnt expecting much. However...

It's brilliant! First-rate acting, very good script too. The film even managed to avoid the usual Hollywood over-sentimentality near the end - it got it spot on. Great movie ^_^

Have to say btw, Rachel McAdams was almost unrecognisable! She looks so different in The Family Stone :o And Lindsay Lohan is a very good actor ^_^

i sat and watched it as i had nothing better to do. it was good. the ending was cheesy.

it's hard imagining her snorting drugs though. i remember when she was a young girl in "the parent trap".

poor cow.

Oh, its hardly so bad. If she wants to snort a few lines at a party, let her - its hardly rare (in both 'celebland' and the 'real world') and as she grows and matures she'll snap out of it.

I liked it :D It was funny and intelligent actually, and nowhere near as cheesy/chick flick-y as I was expecting.

It made me miss high school though :(

i think it's terrible.

she's an icon & role model to young, budding actresses. she should behave responsibly.

it's disgusting and it is bad.

Indeed, shows sometimes our preconceptions about films can be so wrong! I loved it. And it made look forward to college :P Is it anything like that?!

That is your opinion, and sensible, but shes not really been in enough hit movies to be considered a role model - and I think her biggest fans are probably aged between kind of my age (15) and hers (20?? 20-odd) and so can make up their own mind on matters like drugs. I doubt anybody will think, Lindsay does coke, so I'll do it to!

Whether she has the whole world as fans or just one person, it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference.

And believe it or not, her youngest fans actually age from about 10 years old.

And again, believe it or not, people DO actually think that. Look at how many people are WAG's. They think "oh, she's doing it so it must be cool" - especially childrens minds as they're at a very young and fragile age.

Like I said, as a role model, she has a duty to be responsible and doing hardcore drugs is just down right idiotic anyway.

That's not college is it? It's high school?

It reminded me of my high school anyway, having big gangs of people (the nerds, the plastics, the jocks etc.) and everyone fights like cat and dog all the time  But then when it comes down to it (when you leave), everyone misses each other (which shows through at the end when everyone gets on). My 6th form is sort of like that except we're smaller, so we're a lot closer. I can imagine college is nothing like it :P

Well that was high school but I guess in the UK therell be more similarlitys with college - ie. own clothes, not uniform, so people expressing individuality and more pronounced cliques :P

But whats a jock? :P

Well my 6th form is like a close-knit school like I said, college I assume if nothing like it - since it's so much bigger. I don't know sorry :P

A jock is a sporty boy ^_^

Ohhh  Yerr at my school theres no sporty kids :P

Theres 'trendies' (or plastics, if you like), 'emos' (the coolest kids who most people like, some have the emo fringe and attire, others dont :P), 'quite kids' (verging-on nerds but still cool) and 'nerds' (totally unbearable rabbit-toothed book biatches). :)

Exactly mate... She's being marketed at the teen and pre-teen crowd, the way she and Avril Lavigne are acting is downright disgraceful.... Avril with her "getting her kit off" for some sleazy photoshoot and song lyrics which encourage impressionable teen girls to throw themselves at the nearest bloke, and Lohan for her drunk driving and copious amounts of drugs.... <_< Not big, not clever, certainly not anything that should be admired....
