Prodigy - Firestarter (2 weeks)

Amazing comeback tune from the Prodigy. The video caused many complaints by tweedy grannies and the sales soared. genius!

Smashing Pumpkins – Tonight, Tonight (2 weeks)

http://www.rockreviews.net/albums/tonighttonight.jpg

Along with the lovely 1979, this is the Smashing Pumpkins finest moment. The video is brilliant, evoking Victorian/Edwardian science fiction and fantasy.

George Michael – Fast Love (3 weeks)

http://85.21.19.21/bcovers/alb444.jpg

Top song from OCS. Part of the mid-90s Britpop scene, this is pleasingly summery and brings back happy memories.

The Beautiful South - Rotterdam (1 week)

Another band havinga bit of a Renaissance in the mid 90's, this twinkly little number is still rather good.

Some good songs there Jester, Spice Girls  I was there biggest fan at the time, I had the posters on the walls, they were free with Pepsi I think :D

Gina G is a legend <3.

Suede broke up in 2004 I think, after their Singles collection. Filmstar is indeed great, as are all 5 of the Top 10 songs from Coming Up (Not many bands get 5 Top 10 songs from one album these days :( )

I do love Bjork, Its Oh So Quiet came close to a #1, and I also love Hyperballad and Big Time Sensuality. Thanks for commenting too.

I must crack on with this....!
