Oh LOL! Well i went on Popjustice and only a couple of people had commented on it. They said it was really good but on the popjustice home page the review was awful and basically said its sh!t, and that its come under the 'Kelly curse' which means if youre called Kelly and you release an album in 07, its cr@p :lol:

 

And then on UKMix some thing its tedious and some love it.

I cant judge yet :P But I love with a passion Like This, and im really liking Comeback. I hope the rest of the album is as good :o

The new Kelly Rowland album is worse than three copies of the current Melanie C album played at the same time slightly out of sync with each other, although the first thirty seconds of a song called 'Flashback' are quite good and the single 'Like This' is bearable. You presumably know about the latter, however, given that it is already in the Bloody Top Ten.

 

The rest of the 'Miss Kelly' album is so by-numbers it might as well be an LP about mathematics. We couldn't remember what it sounded like even while the CD was still playing on the stereo. There are certainly no mentions of ANY collapsible waterproof items likely to be raised above the head in order to repel rain.

 

However, it's probably not as unlistenable as the Kelly Clarkson album but if we had Le Roc, Llorenna, Laura Michelle, Bryan, Osbourne or R in our names we would be very wary of releasing ANY music in 2007: The Year Of The cr@p Kelly Album. :lol:

I like it! Flashback, Ghetto, Put It In and Gotsta Go

I remember when she performed Gotsta go ages ago, and then they decided it wouldnt be on the album, someone said:

 

'Im glad - Gotsta Go HAD to go' :lol: Made me larf.

i was quick to dismiss kelly's attempts at producing a good solo album after hearing some of her leaked stuff last year, but this album is pretty good.

 

"this is love" is my favourite. it's so beautiful and her voice against the acoustic guitar goes really well.

 

the "flashback" intro is really nice too and the chorus is catchy.

 

"still in love with my ex" is nice and mellow.

 

"like this" has grown on me. she coulda left e-v-e's part though.

 

"come back" is hot too.
