DELTA Goodrem is set for global stardom after a secret meeting with one of the world's most powerful starmakers.

 

Goodrem, 21, met with Irving Azoff, a music industry powerbroker, in Los Angeles last week.

The meeting, in which Goodrem asked Azoff to take charge of her career, aims to re-energise her plan to conquer America.

 

Azoff, manager of The Eagles and Christina Aguilera, is considering Goodrem's request.

 

Last week, a frustrated Goodrem said she has put her US ambitions on hold.
