Posted June 6, 200718 yr Anyone know if any member of these groups is up to anything much? I really liked Solid Harmonie's song I Want You To Want Me and Hepburn's I Quit was great also. Anyone remember these groups?
June 6, 200718 yr Don't know what they are up now to but I remember the singer from Hepburn releasing a solo single in 2002. It was a cover of Stay by Lisa Loeb. I loved both those songs you mentioned and I Wanna Love You by Solid Harmonie was great too.
June 6, 200718 yr I remember Hepburn as they appeared in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and one of the girls from Solid Harmonie joined the Honeyz, can't remember for the life of riley who it was though

June 6, 200718 yr I Wanna Love You is one of my favourite songs ever. Hepburn are ok, but I much prefer Solid Harmonie, SOAP and Precious. pwFXTh04p5U DUwSUVGLqvw BrSh-wbhV5Y

June 7, 200718 yr What was her name? I must hear that. :o Oh I remember that, her name was Jamie Benson :-) Her cover of Stay was a bit bland compared to Lisa Loeb though and I don't think it got released in the end...
June 7, 200718 yr Solid Harmonie sounds familiar to me..Hepburn doesn't..I read a lot of music magazines and I haven't heard anything.. Solid HarmonIE (SHE for short ) were another of those 'Cherion sound acts' of the mid to late 1990s like Robyn, Britney, Backstreet Boys, *Nsync etc etc but a 4 piece girl band featuring Miriama from the Honeyz * Cherion a Swedish production group company feat writer like Kristian Lundin, Denniz Pop and Max Martin Solid Harmonie sounds familiar to me..Hepburn doesn't.. Yeah i remember Hepburn, trying to be a bit in the Natalie Imbruglia market but as a band set up. think they were co-written and produced by the same bloke. dude from the cure. i think
June 7, 200718 yr Oh I remember that, her name was Jamie Benson :-) Her cover of Stay was a bit bland compared to Lisa Loeb though and I don't think it got released in the end... I Quit is a pop classic though, as was Friends Forever by Thunderbugs from the same year, another girlband with guitars! Thanks for posting the name. Just checked on iTunes and the song is available to download there. She's also released an album, which was news to me. :o

June 8, 200718 yr I bought Solid Harmonies album just recently off Ebay, even though I'd never heard any of their songs before.lol.I liked Honeyz and figured there would be a good chance I'd like Solid Harmonie because of the Mariama connection.Plus the cd was only 3 euro or something.lol. It's very good, and includes a cover of boyband 'Hi Five' ''She's Playing Hard to Get'' (but re -titled 'HE'S playing Hard To Get'). I liked Hepburn too but I only ever bought the single 'I Quit' and never heard their others..I knew the singer released a solo album and I loved her cover of Lisa Loeb but I never knew the Hepburn girls name,so I'm glad it's been mentioned on this thread- now I know who to search for on ebay (if it's going cheap)! She has a very distinctive voice.I like.
