Started off in the Herd in ‘67,with a couple of hits “From the underworld & I don’t want our loving to die, he left to form Humble Pie with Steve Marriot (small Faces) in ’69. Had a hit with Natural born bugie.

 

He then goes solo and his double live album “ Frampton comes alive” becomes the most successful live LP in rock history, selling 10 million copies. He had a couple of hit singles “Show me the way” & “Baby I love your way”.

 

Makes a bad career decision in appearing in Robert Stigwoods film Sg Peppers lonely hearts club band with the Bee Gees which is a commercial failure and a critical disaster. All his success built up is now behind him and eventually joins up as a guitarist on David Bowie’s tour in 1987.
