Wind Up.... Yeah, a really aptly named record label..... They are a fukkin' wind-up if you ask me... -_- They almost seem to be deliberately fukkin' up Ev's single release promotions as far as I can see.... I reckon Amy should just ditch this useless bunch of tossers and head off to a label like Roadrunner where Ev might actually get some decent back-up, seeing as how Roadrunner actually specialize in Metal and Hard Rock....

Can't stand the song either, weakest track on the album if you ask me, simply awful saccharine-coated Poppy rubbish.... Rock Ballads are one thing, but this is just weak....

I havent really heard this enough to know if its a good single choice, but the signs for success arent positive following the poor performance of Lithium in the UK (best song on the album, deserved MUCH more), and Sweet Sacrificie (not a good choice IMO) didnt even chart did it? :( They'll only get anywhere with this if the label actually promotes!

Completely agree. ^^ SS didnt even chart, and that was a good single choice. This is a bad one and I dread to think what will happen.

It appears theyre putting a lot of work into the video. It's taking 4 days to shoot this time and has 2 directors. I Hope it has a story rather than just Amy in a dress singing. Who knows.

Id love Lacrymosa to be a single. It wont be because its not commerical enough, but I can imagine it would have a kick ass video. I image a story involving people at a posh ball in masks dancing.

Their performance at Downlad Festival was damn good at the weekend. I really hope this song is a success. I'll post pictures/more info as it comes.

Evanescence have really fukked up big time. -_-
Evanescence have really fukked up big time. -_-

I would say it's more the Record Label that have fukked up the band actually... Poor single choices ("CMWYS" truly sucks as a comeback song, "Sweet Sacrifice" is a good album opener, but not really a single, and "Good Enough" is just utterly weak.... "Lithium" was truly about the only natural single IMO, and the label killed it with bad promotion....).

I really think the fact that Ev didn't deliver "Fallen part two" just threw Wind Up totally, and now they just have no clue how to go about picking and promoting the singles off it.... Yeah, very bad of Amy to have the nerve to come up with such an "awkward" album, eh.....?

It's too bad they're messing it up... The songs they've released are sooo good.. :( Good Enough is not a good choice tho..

I don't like this song but I really hope somehow it becomes a hit. Their releases are so messed up, the dates, NO promotion... Has Wind Up given up on this band? This era could've been much stronger, Lithium or Weight Of The World for the lead single. Lithium isn't as radio friendly as Call Me When You're Sober, but since it's the first single people would hear it anyway. And it's such a good song, what a WASTE!

Fallen had the obvious best singles, but the singles on TOD don't do the album justice. Good Enough is no My Immortal, it's not strong enough to put the focus on Evanescence again after 2 flop singles. I love the intro of the song. It's better than most Top 40 c**p, but I hate this is the last single from this great album. :(

You know what's totally ridiculous? Wind-Up contacted the evanescence.it forum and demanded they take off all the info and pics from the video. They sure as hell aren't totally dead, why are they focusing their attention on petty stuff like that instead of actually promoting them?

Evanescence are Wind-Up's biggest selling act, if you look at their roster, it is absolutely fukkin' DIRE, full of generic $h!t like Finger Eleven, Seether and fukkin' CREED!!!!!! (surely a contender for the most weak "Rock" band of all time, Pearl Jam/Soundgarden without the balls or the talent...) so for them to act this way smacks of sheer ingratitude... Ev NEED to ditch this label, they are killing the band..... Still, what do you expect from a fake-ass Corporate c**k Rock record label which is tied to some huge conglomerate....? <_<

My advice to Ev is, go with a label like Roadrunner, they have 25 years of experience of promoting Hard Rock and Metal bands....
