and i suppose this is one of the worst ever video ever made. a how not to combine film clips with a performance. its so bad its funny and was about #7 on the hits cheesy countdown the other week.

I liked the song (but not the movie) 'NeverEnding Story' and have the 12'' of it somewhere,that I bought years after it was released.Kajagoogoo were popular before I ever bought music,although I am familiar with 'Too Shy'.

I won a budget cd 'Best of Kagagoogoo & Limahl' recently on ebay.lol.It hasn't arrived yet.I'll be surprised if I like even more than 2 songs.

 

I watched Limahl on a tv show a few weeks ago,and one of the presenters (off screen) dialed his number so that his mobile (that was in his pocket) would ring on air.The ringtone was of 'NeverEnding Story' and the audience were laughing,and he looked a bit embarassed.I felt a bit sorry for him.Aww.

 

I never had any interest in Duran Duran though.

i looove duran duran but i personally think limahl is soo much better

as a solo artis "never ending story" is just classic.

I thought Kajagoogoo were awful.... however, when Nick Beggs first disbanded the group, he formed a new band called Ellis, Beggs and Howard. Their best known song was the rather brilliant 'Big Bubbles No Troubles' which was a minor hit.

 

Duran Duran... I loved the first album, lost interest when they became right wing pop embalmed embarrassments.... then kind of rediscovered them when they released the glorious Ordinary World and Come Undone singles. There's so many stories do the rounds about their behaviour in the 80s - utterly vile, apparently, the most unpleasant pop stars of the whole bunch.
