I'd love to think he's say something but have a feeling it will be no more than he's writing for the new album ! Would be delighted to be proved wrong though ;)

Hello ginger beer, :hi: I always think of Enid Blyton when I see ginger beer, Julian, Dick, Anne and Georgina and Timmy the dog and lashings of ginger beer.

Hi gingerbeer :hi:

just a tiny mention in a blog :D

So. The Philippines. People have asked me what I thought and I still don’t know that I’ve come to a conclusion. Certainly I felt like the only person travelling by myself there (thought luckily that was not totally true). But 18-30 backpackers’ Thailand it certainly was not. I definitely was in the total minority as a white European male under the age of 65 that was not followed dutifully by a 19 year old local girl, or her mother offering her daughters’ house cleaning services for my apparent palatial mansion back home (in America) – all very Miss Saigon. Though as Filipino’s seem to breed amongst themselves purely to keep that musical supplied with future cast members I guess that is no surprise. They certainly all sing constantly, though the standard of “Filipino Idol” never quite reaches the dizzying heights of Will Young. Nor ever the stutterer.

Thanks BYM&M's another lovely little snippet.

I love hearing that his voice is appreciated in countries where he's never even promoted.

In today's Sunday Observer:

WILL'S FULL OF WIND

Much amusement greeted news reports that David Cameron

was asked by his local council a fortnight ago to reposition the

wind turbine on the roof of his North Kensington house.

Will Young, a neighbour, found it less than funny. "Every morning

when Will opens his curtains, he can see it," says a friend of the singer.

Thanks BYM&Ms. I doubt Will was the only one to be unamused. Those things make a racket when they are going.

Just a tiny snippet thanks to Susanne on O/S:

Will's name appears for the first time on the Independent on Sunday Pink List of most influential gays. He's at number 75, but he's in very good company.

Nice little snippets, thanks for posting. I don't actually know what a wind turbine is. Are they those windmill things that are usually in the countryside. I've never seen one on anyone's roof before.

As for Will saying something in his interview on Radio 1, I truly hope so. He seems to be very quiet right now. I think he must be hidden away writing for the album.

It's probably something like this one Mary :

Thanks Munchkin. I guess it's much shorter on David Cameron's roof though or no wonder Will was complaining! I wonder if he knew it was David Cameron's house!

Thanks for all the snippets :) I got the feeling from the article Mary that it's coz David Cameron had to move it that Will can now see it, could be wrong though it's just the way I read it.

Didn't DC say he was a fan of Will a while back. Surely Will could just pop over the fence and have a quick word :D

Thanks for the snippets - interesting list.

Must say I wouldn't want a wind turbine outside my house - they're bloody noisy. They're trying to get permission to put 28 of the new type (each one being something like 50m high - I think) near me, but there's been so much anti-feeling about it, the governemnt have finally agreed to have a public enquiry.
