Tom Jones and P Diddy will play at the Concert For Diana, it was announced today.

 

Nelly Furtado, Will Young and Supertramp singer Roger Hodgson will also perform at the concert, to be held at Wembley Stadium on July 1.

 

The event, organised by Princes William and Harry, will mark what would have been the 46th birthday of Diana, Princess of Wales.

 

Supertramp are said to have been a favourite of the late princess.

 

Their 1979 album Breakfast In America was in her record collection and was one of the items butler Paul Burrell was accused, and later cleared, of stealing five years ago.

 

The acts will join a line-up of stars which includes Sir Elton John, Joss Stone, Lily Allen, Kanye West, Duran Duran, Status Quo and Take That.

I wonder what he'll be singing? he might only do one song but I hope it's two. :cheer:

The final running order of the concert, and how many songs each artist will perform, is yet to be determined. We estimate that most artists will perform between 1 – 3 songs each.

 

In what order will the bands play?

The running order of the concert will be announced in the national press and on this website nearer the time.

Just heard this - thank god he's about :D Iwouldnt try for this - dont think I could stand lousy seats & having to sit through all the other acts......but be sooo nice to see him on TV :D
