Dont remember Will saying that  was it on the ITV2 footage i only watched that on the last night :P :P

well said TT that's why i love him

I can't recall where/when he said it but he was asked about all the women lusting after him - and it was definitely while he was still on the show. Girls used to call out "Marry me" etc. - obviously before he came out. He's so comfortable with himself now that he happily flirts outrageously with his women fans - as some can attest to :P

I'm the same - I'm drawn to him like a magnet. I think it's his whole personality though - his views, demeanour, outlook on life - I feel an affinity with him which I have only felt with one other man - my husband - and I only "know" him by sight and have only fleetingly met him once. The voice is what drew me in first though - the rest has just come over the past five years. Wish I'd met him in my youth - one of us is born out of time - probably me - - but he has the gentle ways of someone from yesteryear so maybe it's him.

Feel exactly the same munchkin & BYM+M's. In fact I'm sure my obsession is getting worse. It isn't just the voice. He's just an intriguing fascinating person.
Will Young on Radio 1 this Thursday between 1pm to 2pm

I could have written this and I'm probably even more crazy about him now than when he won PI

Bringing this over from Devoted:

Hi All,

Was looking at the website, and found the message boards. I saw The Vortex a few months ago, which I have to say I really went to see because I like the play, but I thought Will Young was great in it. Met Will and most of the cast in the pub afterwards, andI have to say he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He's really intelligent, has a great sense of humour, is totally down to earth, and is excellent company. (So were the rest of the cast, but I guess it's WY you're interested in!)

Anyway, a couple of hours well spent, in good company. I'm probably not a fan in the way you guys are - though I do like his music, honest! - I suppose I just wanted to say that he really is as genuinely nice as he seems to be.

Isn't that just lovely

I wouldn't still be here if I thought this was faked.

I think most of us can identify with this, he has such charisma, its odd because no one has ever affected me like this before either. If only he could bottle it!!!

Strange too how some of us are completely mesmerised and yet it passes others by completely. I almost feel sorry for them ;)

I think this little verse sums it up nicely:

"“Some people come into our lives and quickly go.

Some people come into our lives

and they move our souls to sing

and make our spirits dance.

They awaken us to new understanding

with the passing whisper of their wisdom.

Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.

They stay in our lives for awhile,

leave footprints on our hearts

and we are never, ever the same.”

That's my reaction to those who don't get the magic of this amazing guy...the poor things don't know what they're missing

I have never felt like this about anyone else either...and I know I never will.

I know. It is weird - this young man has such a wonderful personality and charisma - apart from the voice and the appearance. We are so lucky that he was chosen from the "maybe" room. It doesn't bear thinking about that he might not have been picked.

There is also a little mention in the "today's choices" (I assume she means the Radio Times To-day's Choices) for Monday 25th June:

"Sending singer Will Young to Cameroon and Gabon to learn about gorillas may not immediately seem the best way to protect these creatures, but he's a delightful guide and his film, while not up to the standard of an Attenborough, is heartfelt".

Edith's just been talking about Will on radio1 now, about him going in to speak about the programme etc

and she's just mentioned that he's off to Glastonbury this weekend, so they'll have loads to talk about she said. :cheer:
