A HOST of stars roared with laugher at the opening night of Little Britain in London – and I swiped the only backstage pass.

 

I chatted with DAVID WALLIAMS and MATT LUCAS before the gig at the Hammersmith Apollo — and was thrilled when they asked me to take over from Lou and push Andy’s wheelchair.

 

I also loved meeting Bubbles de Vere and having my hair pulled by hospital inmate Anne.

 

In the interval David told me he feared the night had got off to a slow start — but he was obviously deaf to the belly laughs coming from the likes of CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS and supermodel CLAUDIA SCHIFFER.

 

This was a show which had every spectrum of the celebrity ladder crying with laughter and cringing at the vulgarity.

 

The BBC TV series is shocking but it doesn’t prepare you for the sight of Walliams as the PM-obsessed Sebastian running around naked with his bits tucked between his legs.

 

In one scene David ran into the audience and dragged two unsuspecting blokes on to the stage. He wrestled one to the ground, pulled down his pants and kissed his buttocks.

 

I spoke to David after the stunt — and he admitted my gay-o-meter was going to have to whirl round from blue to pink.

 

He said: “I’ve never kissed a man’s bottom before. Just when I was back into the blue as well.â€

 

WILL YOUNG told me afterwards: “I was terrified when he ran out into the crowd.

 

He dragged me up before in Manchester but when he tried to pull down my pants I pulled his down instead.â€

 

DJ JONO COLEMAN was the celebrity victim of the night as Fat Club’s Marjorie Dawes humiliated him in front of his family by saying: “Ooh, fat people stink!â€

 

But the biggest laughs came from the comic duo’s improvised banter when they couldn’t help collapsing with laughter at their own jokes.

 

This show is brilliant but not for the faint-hearted — and it is certainly not one to take children to see.

There is an article in the Mirror saying that Will is possibly going into the musical Wicked when Adam Garcia comes out of the role.

Think it's in the Sun Dot, it's VN isn't it! If there's any truth in it then it doesn't look like he's taking much of a break - the boys a workaholic ;)
