Speccie was at the Mencap carol service at St Bartholomews tonight and she came back with this info,

Will wasn't there but of course he had been invited, but due to his very BUSY schedule, could not attend. Apparently he has been to America, to film some videos (promotional?) for some music he is doing next year!!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I've always thought this 6 month holiday malarkey was a bit of wishful thinking on Wills part :D I mean not only has he got his music, but acting agents looking out for roles for him, plus there's Conor. He's hardly likely to take off and backpack round the World at the drop of a hat, is he? ;)

 

So, it looks like these videos have had to be fitted in before the 3 month run in the Vortex (the Wicked rumours seem to have died the death now) so although I doubt they're anything to do with Wills next album, it would be interesting to know exactly what they're all about. :D

 

Do they do videos for film soundtracks? Is he going to release in the US? he was offered a contract last year I think, didn't he say though that it was too restrictive or something? Gawd knows what he's doing, have to wait 'til something actually happens I suppose. :D

I don't know if he was offered a contract but I do remember him saying that he would worry about the loss of control. He likes to be in command and maybe he's worried that he would be expected to hawk himself on every show and advert going in order to help him 'break' the US. IMHO and going by what he has said he is not in a particular hurry to do that. There's no guarantees that all that hard work would pay off. There have only been a few really successful breaks by UK artists - the rest can only dream on.

Will is headline artist at The Dolce Vita Ball, appearing with live band, :dance: thanks to Youngasyoufeel for link. any of us going to this? tickets are only £8,000 per table for ten. :lol:

Love her music. :cheer: I always remember during PIExtra Will being asked what music he'd been buying, and he said he hadn't been able to get out to buy, but that a friend had given him the latest Beverley Knight and it was great. Little did he know at the time............
