I'm sure Will was down for their section on Q&A where the star answers questions, but it never materialised. Sure it was Now magazine.

Only a tiny mention, but with it being such a drought i thought I would post it :D

De Waterkant lies in the historic Bo-Kaap (above Town) area of Cape Town, an historic and culturally interesting area of the city. A traditional residential area of Cape Town's Muslim community, it is situated on the slopes of Signal hill. It still has original cobbled streets, brightly coloured houses from the nineteenth century, Muslim shrines ("kramats") and mosques. Most of the residents are descended from slaves brought to the Cape by the Dutch in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

Trendy and fashionable today, it is compared to New York's Greenwich Village and London's Soho with its tree lined streets, restored cottages, spectacular views and village atmosphere.

Located opposite Café Manhattan, one of the oldest gay restaurants in the city, The Charles is the ideal place to really experience the pulse of Cape Town.

The guest house consists of three historical Georgian houses, which are internally linked.

The interior styling is a mixture between original old Cape Cottage furniture; mostly oak, yellow wood, stink wood and pine, with some contemporary modern and African pieces. Today the style is described as eclectic and creates opportunity for the spaces to develop and flourish over time.

Views from the roof decks of The Charles are spectacular! And guests enjoy bird's eye views of the famous V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, De Waterkant Village and the city itself.

At night, De Waterkant Village throbs with the vibrant sounds coming from the late-night cafés, restaurants and clubs as throngs of glamorous people eat, drink and make merry in a nightspot to end all nightspots!

Will Young, popular UK singer, visited the area and stayed at The Charles on his Unite The Stars tour in support of Nelsons Mandela's charity. When asked what an ideal night on the town would be for him he replied “It’s those surprise nights... actually, one of them was right here!" referring to De Waterkant. "It was one of those nights that takes you here, there and everywhere, unplanned.â€

Thanks for that BYM&M's, it looks a lovely place and and any Will mention is good to see.

Just been talking to Phillipa (who is unable to post for various reasons) saying that a friend of hers (an O/S member) heard Will on her local radio in Bedfordshire saying that he is currently looking at scripts for his next film but wants to find something he is "comfortable with".

All sounds good to me!

Gays of Woking Beware

Poor Will Young! I am sorry to hear he's split from his boyfriend. If Will needs a bit of comfort, I'm quite prepared to cuddle him to my ample bosom and offer solace,. I wouldn't dream of taking advantage of him when he's hurting.....OK, OK, I definitely would. Come on, the guy's a walking love god! A girl's got to take every opportunity she can get.

Linda, Woking

They reply......

Woman, your a sex pest! Will did once say he fancied the Queen, but unless you're next in line to the throne you won't be getting your hands on his crown jewels. Try it on with Christopher Biggins instead.

Think this definitely needs posting. :D :D

Taken fro a Q&A with Nitan Sawhney.

Q: What were the songs you choose for former Pop Idol winner Will Young at the BBC's electric proms last year? What do you think about Idol competitions?

A: Will Young was a pleasure to work with. We simply performed a song I had co-written with him for his last album, “Keep On†called Home. The song was very well received and one of the highlights of our performance. Generally reality TV shows hold little or no interest for me but I was drawn to Will Young as a creative artist not a competition winner.

We shouldn't worry when artists like Nitan see Will's talent & he is only one of many. :yahoo:

Thanks TT. I was just saying over the road that I was so pleased to read Nitin's comments. It hacks me off when spiteful know-nothings scoff at this co-writing credits. He's had unprompted praise from other musicians. That's something money can't buy.

I saw that on D and thought "this needs posting on Buzzjack" but you got there before me. I think it is great when Will gets unsolicited praise like this. Thanks for posting.
