He looks lovely. Tanned and happy. So nice to see him out and about. Seems like he's been a recluse of late. I'm sure he hasn't but he's getting very adept at keeping a low profile when he wants

The glitterati of showbiz swarmed in their droves last night to welcome a true Prince to his court.

 

Pint-sized singer Prince, wowed the 1,500 crowd at Camden's Koko, showing that all that glitters is still gold as he performed a string of his greatest hits in an exclusive two hour concert.

 

In true diva style, the 48-year-old singer kept his audience, which included, Chris Moyles, David Walliams, Mika, Abi Titmuss, Vernon Kay and Will Young twitching on their toes for an hour an half before stepping out to a delirious applause in a trademark plunging v-neck top, a large Prince symbol diamond necklace and white stiletto shoes.

 

Spoilt for choice, he pondered on stage what to offer the party faithful, telling them at one point: 'So many hits, so little time.'

 

But he did his best churning through favourites such as, 'Kiss' and 'Diamonds and Pearls'.

 

Oozing sexuality, he made no attempt to cover up the bulge in his trousers sending female fans delirious.

 

A true showman, he then passed his guitar into the crowd before it was passed back.

 

 

 

But a bizarre incident halfway through the show almost overshadowed the event. Several fans were pulled on stage to dance and one girl gave him a peck on the cheek. Prince, jokingly fell to the floor but a bouncer then appeared and removed the girl from the stage.

 

Prince then disappeared from the stage returning a few minutes later with a towel wrapped round his head.

 

The concert was a taster of the star's 21 show London tour, which is set to kick off this summer.

 

The gigs, which will be performed in front of 140,000 fans, will be the only dates the singer will perform in Europe.

 

He will be play seven nights at the 02 Arena, formerly the Millennium Dome, with tickets costing only £31.21 to match the name of his album 3121.

Must admit I have never liked prince, he comes across as very creepy :cry: but if Will enjoyed the show I am glad :D
