Is Will Young about to do a Sir Elton and get married to his boyfriend Conor? Clsoe friends seem to think so. Apparently, Will has told friends that waiter Conor, whom he met more than a year ago, has made him "happier than I have ever been in my life."

 

And Will, 27, who came out just a week after winning Pop Idol, told my mole "I think I was so-so about gay weddings before I saw how happy Elton John and David Furnish are. It got me thinking." Now I've heard that Will and Conor have been looking at rings, which they claim would be mothing more than friendship rings - for now. But Will admits "He is the one I want to make it for life with." How sweet.

 

I really hope Will is happy but can anyonehonestly imagine Will making those remarks. He won't even openly admit he's in a relationship! :lol:

 

At least NS got his age right.

Actually the comment about Conor being a waiter might have a grain of truth in it. My daughter was a professional dancer and she worked at a variety of menial jobs before eventually leaving the business. Maybe he waited at table during a lean period. We could also call Will a waiter or a barman as he has done both those jobs.

 

The thing is that NS is trying to make out that Conor is a lowly paid worker whereas he is someone with a degree in Performing Arts (that is right isn't it?) and who is probably a very able and intelligent man. I cannot see Will going for anyone other than someone like that.

Thanks for the welcome folks. I have kept in touch as a couple of the hotels we went to had free internet! We also stayed at Circus Circus where you can get internet access.

 

I love your user name, BanYellowm+m's. You wouldn't have liked the M+M place in Vegas - it has a huge (and I mean enormous) yellow M+M outside. :D

 

Unfortunately, I have come back from the US with acute bronchitis and had to go to ER to get some antibiotics. Dishy doctor but not George Clooney! One of the nurses was from Newbury and was born in the Royal Berkshire in Reading where Will was born! Small world, isn't it?

 

We saw Ralph Fiennes in New York signing autographs outside the Booth Theatre where he is playing. I love New York! :yahoo:
