So, just who is the celeb who believes baring one's soles is appropriate?

 

William Young.

 

He never struck us as the type to shun footwear for a trip outside, but it just goes to show how you never really know with some people.

And let's not even mention the hygiene factor - the streets of London are pretty mucky - so Will is bound to have picked up a different colour on his tootsies after this.

But, as we're sure you can imagine, Will ain't the only starry type to tread concrete.

Thanks BYM&Ms for bringing it across. That looks like the Land Rover he hired a while ago. He suffers from smelly feet and the best thing for that is plenty of fresh air - a bit of dirt won't hurt them :lol:

 

There was an interview with Alan Titchmarsh on the BBC breakfast show this morning. There's a clip up if anyone is interested. It's part of Will's segment so we'll probably get to see it again :dance:

I've only been gone a few hours, and already there's lots of news.

 

I'm supposed to be in the Midlands, but got as far as Gateshead and turned back. Left here overcast but no rain, got 10 miles down the road - heavy rain - 35 miles further south and the roads were flooding and the traffic chaotic, with the promise of more flooding and holdups on the A1(Yorkshire)/M1. Got back here overcast no rain. :rolleyes:

 

Shall try again tomorrow - so long as I'm there for Sunday 'cos I'm the one with the tix for the BBC Gardeners' World Show at the NEC Birmingham!!!! :lol:

My son has just come back from a Geography trip looking at the rejuvenation of the quayside. What a day to pick!

Hope your son's dried out by now TT. It was heavy rain and flooding in Newcastle/Gateshead earlier could hardly see to drive, but it's just overcast here. Wouldn't believe how much the weather could change in such a relatively short distance, or there again maybe I could. :lol:
