I would willingly prostitute myself to get enough money, just to get my grubby mitts on him for an hour :yahoo:

Behave yourself F/G, I shouldn't be reading stuff like this, I've led a very sheltered life, how much will a discreet ad in the paper cost?

I wonder if Will is going to be the 'cabaret' on the night of the auction.

It's 30's style, just his scene, and he's said in a couple of interviews that he'd like to do cabaret.

Just to add to that, apparently this venue is going to feature cabarets in the future as is the re-vamped London Hippodrome. I bet we'll see Will play at one of them next year when he starts looking at other projects.
:D

I do hope your right Marguerite. We need these new ventures from Will to keep us going while he takes his chart break.

looks like i will have to get a life next year  its been so long i wont know where to start  I suppose i could start by getting dressed and actually leaving the house without it having to be Will related

Just a little snippet in Now mag, posted in by NoWillPower,

It's about the T4 concert.

While Will Young spent most of the day wandering around barefoot, his twin brother Rupert was left holding the baby - well puppy.

The poor pooch missed Will's performance when he was refused access backstage and was left tied to some scaffolding. Clearly he didn't have the right pawband.

Awww, sounds like Will decided to get a new doggy after all. :D

Wonder if it's really Will's or they're just guessing.

Maybe it's a companion for his special friend while he's on the road touring. ;)

Will at Film Screening for Homeless Charity

Singer Will Young was among the guests who flocked to a film screening which raised more than £5,000 for a leading youth homelessness charity.

Will was part of the 269-strong crowd which attended the charity screening of the 'No Egos Required Film Festival' at the Odeon Covent Garden yesterday.

The film festival comprised of specially commissioned short films made from a crop of London's talent with all proceeds going to Centrepoint.

Tickets for the festival sold out weeks before the event was due to take place with people able to meet and celebrate the cream of London's film talent.

Darren, a Centrepoint resident, who is looking to break into the film industry starred in cinematographer, Larry Smith's film 'The Dreamer'.

"I learnt loads about film production as the crew were down to earth and friendly, I had the opportunity to ask them questions. It was a real privilege to be there. Being chosen for the film was amazing, I walked around with the biggest smile on my face when I found out."

Anthony Lawton, Centrepoint Chief Executive said: "We are delighted Centrepoint was chosen to be recipients of such a successful and innovative event. The evening was a great success and raised over £5,000 for Centrepoint. I would like to thank all the contributors and generous sponsors for their tremendous support and also to give a huge thanks to producer and event organiser Charlotte Woodhead."

A snippet from today's Daily Express - Thanks to Janet on D.

Into The Vortex

Will Young, below (nice little pic), the only idol participant who has had the brains and ambition to forge a life beyond the contests, is about to take a leap into the unknown. He's going to the Manchester Royal Exchange to appear in Noel Coward's first big hit, The Vortex (1924) in the role Coward wrote for himself of an upper-class drug addict. It's a difficult role and if he pulls it off he'll have made himself into an actor.

Nice comments - no sarcasm for a change. ;)

....and another from Sky News - Neil Sean - this morning thanks to Griff on D:

Just mentioned the Vortex but also that Will has written his own 'high class production 'with a nod to the Edwardian era !!'

He mentioned that Will would get a small fee as he really wanted to gain experience in the acting field and that he went to an acting school in Central London.

Isn't it fantastic that Will is receiving so much support for this new venture in the media. Can't remember reading one sarcy comment. I think they respect him for having the balls to tackle such a demanding role.

Hope they are as kind with their reviews.

He got much the same reaction to his role in MHP and "pulled it off" that time and got praised for it. I have faith.

I'm sure Will will give 100% commitment to this role, he wanted it, he auditioned for it and he got it, so I have every faith in him to pull it off.

Daily Express

The Oscar winning actress also raved about singer Will Young, who starred with her in Mrs Henderson Presents and who will soon make his theatrical debut in Noel Cowards's early play the Vortex.

"I found him very proffesional" Dame Judi added at a party to celebrate the renaming of London's Albery theatre as The Noel Coward Theatre. "Very determined, and he has acting talent. I'd tip him as an actor of the future, although he doesn't need me to do that"

lovely comments from judy

Nice one Judy.

Will couldn't wish for higher praise. :cheer:
