He talked about Will again today. He mentioned the September tour and also said that his new album "Keep On" is doing well and that the nutters from the website had told him he had got the name wrong! He went on to say that in the Attitude magazine he said that he sometimes could fancy a girl but he also mentioned the smoking of "pot" which wouldn't go down very well in Hollywood if he wants to persue a film career. He said that Will was marketed as a clean living person! He also said that the record company had gone into a tailspin about his revelations!

 

He also said that the tour is selling well and that Will is very popular. (Don't we know it?!)

 

All in all not too bad. Apart from the fact that it was Tatler that had the girls and pot mention!

I don't know I go away for a holiday and come back and find everyone gone. Then realised I had an e-mail from Phil, so here I am!!!!!

Just a quickie before bedtime, I was waiting for news from the intimate gig tonight, but I don't think we'll get a full report till the morning. I'll just post another pic instead, any excuse, I bet he wasn't dressed like this tonight. :P

WILL YOUNG has said goodbye to the geeky guy who won Pop Idol.

 

In his place is a confident, seasoned singer with the talent to exploit his voice to the full.

 

Will gave a flamboyant and self-assured performance when he appeared at an exclusive Up Close gig in Alloway, Ayrshire, last night.

 

Sponsored by Emap Radio Events and the Royal Bank of Scotland, the gig gave competition winners the chance to see the man behind the songs close up - and he didn't disappoint.

 

The 27-year-old camped it up, pulling faces, telling stories, leaving comic pauses and adapting his lyrics to give them a cheeky Scottish twist.

 

Will opened with Very Kind from his Friday's Child album and played his last two singles and forthcoming release Who Am I in quick succession. An undoubted highlight was the funky Switch It On before Will captivated the crowds at the Brig O'Doon House Hotel with the chart-topping single Leave Right Now.

The woman in the last picture looks stunned! Not surprised - he looks gorgeous

I'm not surprised she looked stunned. Apparently she mentioned him getting his kit off and asked if he worked out because he looked so fit. He said "No it's all natural" then looked at her and said "Do you work out - that a lovely dress" and laughed.

 

 

Will was just absolutely brilliant during the question and answer session. I felt he was very honest in his answers and I know that has been mentioned before but it was lovely to here him talk about his music being appreciated and then in total contrast when the Mel Walker (the female DJ who was the MC for the night) mentioned about seeing him in the buff in Heat and asked if he worked out and he said no it just natural beauty - do you? oh thats a lovely dress - think it is the first time in Mel's life that she has been speechless

WILL Young is giving up smoking... and Charlotte Church is helping him.

 

The 27-year-old singer told us he's half-way through Alan Carr's famed Easy Way To Stop Smoking book and is desperately trying to cut down before he gives up for good.

 

Will said: "I'm trying - it's doing so much damage to my voice and my tour's coming up. It's hard but Charlotte is doing it, too."

 

Loved-up Char decided to kick the habit earlier this month, to keep boyfriend Gavin Henson on side.

 

"She's amazing," added Will. "Unlike me, she smoked as much as she wanted but her voice was fine." Time for some Will power, love...
