:D Will's performing with Nitin Sawhney later this month, a well respected musician who's opinion counts far more than this old fart. :D There, I feel better already. :yahoo:

Couldn't have put it better myself suggy.

Will's success must so stick in the craw of these so called musical experts. :P

Dorian is a name - remember the Picture of Dorian Grey, the Oscar Wilde play about a man who never ages and has a picture ins his attic growing old.

Perhaps this Dorian has it the other way round!

I did realise it was a name Dot (got the book somewhere) - I was just being sarcastic towards the critic.

I knew you knew about Dorian - I just thought I would air my knowledge! :D

I'm sure I've seen that film as well, is it the one where he stays young in it?

That's the one Suggy. He basically sells his soul to the devil to stay young. Very Faustian!!!!!!!! It's an old film with I think George Sanders, although as far as I can remember he doesn't play the leading role. Now who's airing their knowledge.

I saw it as a TV play a few years ago. I think Peter Firth (Harry Pearce in Spooks) played Dorian Grey! He was lovely as a young man.

Never saw the play Dot, only the film when it was on TV a few years back, but I read the book when I was a teenager. Like a couple of years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not wanting to brag or anything but last year I met an old boyfriend who I hadn't seen for years and he asked me if I had a mirror up in the attic, as he said I'd not changed much at all, http://www.devotedfansnetwork.com/forums/images/smilies/blushing.gif while he on the other hand looked like Bruce Willis on a bad day.

Snap Suggy - not Pampers baby-wipes - but cleansing cream. My ex used to say my skin must be like cheese!!! Haven't washed my face and throat since I was about 18 years old - I wash the back of my neck and ears though.

From crazy-sexy-will:

Neil Sean has mentioned Will on his Sky report this morning, he spoke about the Vortex and west End show and then he went on to mention about Will releasing a live album from his recent tour!

If only NS wasn't such a fantasy fruit loop, this story would excite me, I'd love it to be true about the live album. :(

Must be one of the rare occasions when I'm hoping NS is telling the truth! :P

A live album with some of the performance - I'd settle for that it's better than nowt

Thanks suggy.

Well with all his hundreds of false reports he as got to fall on a true report at some point :P

I hope this is true, though he did say a couple of weeks ago that Will was releasing a DVD at the end of the year

Just spotted this posted by Carly in the Guardian Review on LL Album thread on D:

Piece by Jo Whiley in the Mail today talking about Live Lounge. Headline is "I cringed when Will Young sang Hey Ya" but reading on and it says ...

Quote:

It gives bands the chance to do something people just wouldn't expect, like Lemar doing the Darkness or Will Young doing Hey Ya.

Quote:

When Will came in to do Hey Ya I had no idea what he was up to - he even had a choir. For the first minute I was cringeing. I just thought it wasn't working at all. Then the way he was singing suddenly brought the lyrics to life and for the first time I really got what the song was about. It was spell-binding to the end.

It just shows that people don't listen to the lyrics of pop songs so long as they have a good tune. I love Will's own songs because you do have to listen to the lyrics when the melody of the song is carried totally by his voice.

One of the girls just said that she reckons the headline will be the one thing that will be re-quoted. But it's the DM - and when did they ever show Will in a good light - they want people to see him in a bad way. Why else would they put that as a headline and not quote anything else she said

The Brtish press are masters of 'out of context' quotes.

Yes, but people will read the story hoping to feel "smug" if they don't like or appreciate Will, well aren't they going to be disappointed then. http://www.devotedfansnetwork.com/forums/images/smilies/nana.gif
