What was that in? The questioner is right - he shouldn't be smoking for all sorts of reasons. :(

A little snippet on the 1 Giant Leap Project - small mention of Will.

This is hard to do without specific questions to answer. Know that the musical base that Dunc set up is spectacular and the contributions of people like kd lang, Carlos Santana, Ulali, the Mahotella Queens, Franti and friends, Daniel Lanois, Eddi Reader, Will Young, Zap Mama, some rocking Japanese chanteuses and African divas and those beautiful people that we have seen or never met before...all of that is a loving symphony of sound that will be unforgettable to us all.

It really hacks me off when Will gets criticised for not being a 'real' musician because he doesn't play a musical instrument on stage. I've said it in the past - his voice is his instrument and it really pleases me no end when I read comments by people who know what they are talking about who agree.

 

These musicians wouldn't give him the time of day if they didn't think he had something worthwhile to contribute:

I was drawn to Will Young as a creative artist not a competition winner...Nitin Sahwney.
