This is pretty much older news, but I thought I should post it here anyhow. Enya is supposed to receive this honorary doctorate sometime this month from the National University of Galway.

Actually, I think this is the second honorary doctorate she is to receive, as I believe she's already been bestowed an honorary doctorate of letters from another university, but, I don't recall which one just now. Then again, with having old-timers, my memory IS a bit suspect at times. :rolleyes: :P

I don't even know what a doctorate is.. :( How stupid of me. This is the first time I've heard of it. I also didn't know this was her second one.

As we know, she was awarded in Galway..I think there is also one that will take place in Ulster.
