If it's anything like the first FF film, then frankly, no.... Very average effort the first one was, like a poor-man's "X-Men" in every way possible....

I'm thinking a "5 out of 10" film tbh....

I really liked the 1st one, but unfortunately, I don't think it will be better than the other one.
I hope it is better than the first one, because my friend dragged me into watching it and it wasn't 'fantastic' but it wasn't cr@p' either, so he will probably do the same again, I still got it on DVD, never watched it again though, I might do to enlighten me again

i liked it (in a cheesy way). Obv not up with recent X, Batman stuff but probs a match for anything with Nic Cage in it

I've still not got round to seeing the first film, but I think this looks great personally! :D Not sure how good it will actually be, but from the trailers i've seen it looks good. ^_^
i loved the first one and think this will be better

This looks better than the first one, the special effects have gone one step further

Originally the Silver Surfer is a good guy in the marvel comics. Looking forward to watching this, I was a big fan of the cartoon series.

well the times has giving it 3 stars and says it actually alright, and is an out and out comic book movie, not wanting to be bother about higher themes of importnace and justification and just what you want. not 5 hours long either a good hour and half how it should be.

however best to look at other papers to get their ops first

It's recieved some amazing reviews. ^_^
it's not all that. i don't like it.

it is better than the first one, actually i might go as far as saying it was better than Spidey 3 being not five million hours long or having c**p emo spidey jokes. Obv not up there with some of the Batmans/first spideys, but probs all you want from a film like this if your just out for chessy superhero fun rather than some higher disecting of the meterial

btw the blatent Dodge product placement later on was c**p and v cringeworthy (HEMI!!! but i suppose the companys in the $h!t ) but not as bad as Oceans 13 gold samsung phone  (the Johnny Storm suit at the beginning with all the endorsements would have been alright if it had not been done by Capt Amazing in the Mystery Men about 8 years ago! so ITV when are you gonna show it now???)

think the best parts were between Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm (wonder why he's not refered to as The Thing?? Is it political correctness or this because 'The Thing' by John Carpenter has been optioned for remake??) and i liked the whole swaping powers thing.

On the other hand the way Alba was acting, she would have made a better 'plastic woman' character and also in this now looking like some kinda Dansk Glamour model (obv with the same kinda screen pressence  ) rather than anything like Max from Dark Angel

Kerry Washington was much better and good to see that her role had not been sidelined like some of the supporting charcters were in the last spidey (even tho it would have been funny to have her to utter that famous Richard Pryor line from See No Evil Hear No Evil  )
