June 27, 200718 yr I was listening to this on the way home from work and it just hit me who it sounds like but you're all going to be way too young to remember them. It sounds like several songs from an album by a sixties band called the Idle Race, but one track in particular - the Skeleton & The Roundabout. The Idle Race was the band that Jeff Lynne was in before he joined Roy Wood in The Move before ultimately going on to create The Electric Light Orchestra. It had been bugging me for ages but Eureka! There you go folks - a little potted music history for you young'uns. And I think this is why I love Take That at this point in time - because they remind me of ELO which was my favourite band of the 70's (still do love their music - there's no better musician than Jeff Lynne). June 29, 200718 yr Excellent song, currently my favourite song and it should have been on the album :-) Perhaps they will re-release it as a tour edition later in the year with this song on it...
