yeah sure it was months ago. i aint seen any in tesco extra just the usual tesco type acts on cd and dvd

 

I'm quite annoyed about it though, only HMV left now.

I think HMV will continue selling singles until they stop making them, I love collecting singles, I prefer having a 'physical' copy of a song instead of a file on my PC

 

To me, it's a chicken & egg situation : they take them off the cshleves in some stores, *then* claim they aren't selling. HTF *can* they sell if they aren't available for people to buy?

 

I much prefer CD singles, and dread the day when even specialist record stores like Virgin & HMV stop carrying them.

 

There have already been 3 singles this year that I *would* have bought, but couldn't, because they weren't out on CD. :(

 

i can see why someone would want vinyl to collected as its cool esp when you get the artist to sign it. however cd singles are w*** and annoying, and i only normally get them in a 3 for £3.
