I was just about to post this lol.... well the management firm arranged it.. she sacked them so it was inevitable that it would have to be cancelled

and she needs to promote... so i'm happy that it got cancelled.. but she does love touring so i do feel sorry for her!

Yea, i think the main reason is promo - they need to really promote the album to death..otherwise it just wont sell :(

You can say you're happy it got cancelled.

 

But I'd booked flights and hotels to go and they're non refundable. A lot of savings went into it and I don't know what else to say other than I can really relate to Irvine right now...

I don't think you can really understand how I feel right now. I worked my ass off to pay for it all and now it was all pretty much pointless.

Yeah, about £40 each they were. The flights cost the most though, it's not cheap to go from the UK to Florida in August...

I don't regret it no, I'd do anything for that woman that was in my power. I'm just sad it had to end like this and things went so badly with the management and so the tour couldn't go ahead. I mean it's a big thing to cancel such a massive tour and none of it is Kelly's fault. I don't blame her.

 

I more blame those in our society who call themselves music moguls who have let money go to their head. I mean it's inconsiderate of them to mess fans about and I think they may have just killed quite a bit of support... It also wouldn't surprise me if MD is not released on schedule.

I don't think it was done on purpose, I guess there was a lot of arguments. I mean Kelly sacked her managers yesterday and they were the ones booking the tour. If you've got no bookers and organisers you have no choice but to cancel.

 

I think people need time out at Camp Kelly.

first off, sorry for everyone who had planned to come out to the US for her tour, i know it sucks for everyone, i'd feel the same if i booked tickets to see Girls Aloud or the Sugababes over there and it got canceled. I feel really bad for her that she had to do this, the good thing is when she does go on tour, hopefully the album will have grown on everyone and it'll be more exciting. To me i feel like you should tour well after a new album has been put out so people have the chance to grow to love all the songs on it. And although I do think touring is also a good way to get people to buy the album, i think she's gonna need to do small gigs and tv performances to get this album to be a hit.

How sad. I thought Kelly did play arenas here in the UK. I get the feeling that being backed by Clive Davis is a two edged sword!

I read that it isn't affecting the album release date. Though the reasoning for the tour cancellation I've read on MTV.com is due to poor ticket sales. It's not really necessarily due to her firing her manager.

I highly doubt it's anything to do with poor ticket sales! Trust me I bought tickets and they were hard to get. The fanclub presale sold out, the vitamin water presale sold out and then when it came to the day of public sale only mediocre tickets were left in most cases. Last week on ticketmaster pretty much all the nosebleed seats were left and heck the album isn't even out yet!

 

That's why I believe that somewhere in all this the truth is yet to come out.

Yeah it's getting reported everywhere that it is due to low sales :o My brother laughed at me and was like haha kelly clarkson can't even sell out a tour! so i had to do my "well she toured with her last albu, then again to show off new songs and is trying to tour again before new music is even out.. she should have wait until about 3 weeks after the album was out before tickets up" speech.. then he just replied "well oasis would be able to sell it out" and i had no com comeback :(
