She's been doing a lot of gigs in Ireland but there was something a few months ago about her doing a stage show. I'll probably get the name wrong but I think it might have been The War Of The Worlds. I'll try and check that.

I quite liked her. David Sneddon was fine but really not to my taste.

He's doing alright too.

I'm not sure if it's there or on youtbe. It used to be on youtube but the youtube one was out of synch and he looked as if he was miming.

Which he definately wasn't - nor were the orchestra behind him.

Funnily enough I never checked them out on the youtube version. Too busy looking at Darius..

Darius works well in front of an orchestra or a jazz band or a pop band and, best of all, all on his own.

Variety is the spice of life.

He certainly is one of the spices in mine.

That's why so much other music and people seem so bland in comparison.

He is larger than life and, like a lot of people like that, a gentle soul

and when he smiles, it transfixes me for a second or two.

I think it's because he really sees you. A lot of people look and don't see.

Well you know what that did to me at Maidstone.

I was about two feet from Darius at a front table with Linda and every time he'd turn that gaze on me, I couldn't hold it but didn't want to show it, so instead I'd sip/gulp my wine. He did a lot of looking and I did far too much drinking!

Think Sarah singing 'If I were a bell' It was really funny. The inability to walk in a straight line and lack of inhibitions. She was good fun. Not that we'd torment her about it.

 

She was also very smiley and quite taken with D. Dave was amused but didn't want her wondering alone, especially when she went in the opposite direction to her hotel. We had a great night and it was all thanks to BT (who also enjoyed it) Funnily enough, Darius was the funniest I've ever seen him as well. It was a terrific night, made better by having David there as I could just pass the cameras over and ask him to keep snapping while I just enjoyed it.
