Frankly they would have been stupid not to.

Thats a Britney Spears Forum and you can't get into the forum at all without registering.

 

Considering the circumstances, its understandable her fans are not going to like Leona.

 

Celine, Whitney and Mariah forums all slag Leona off as well.

I'm a huge fan of the "Diva's" and I absolutely love Leona. Although no offence to Leona (because I did say I love her) but there's quite frankly not a chance in blue hell that she'll achieve even a quarter of what any of the above diva's have in their careers. I have a strange feeling I have an essay coming back from that statement from you Thor. :lol: It's just my honest opinion though. :P

 

As for the single, the first time I heard it I hated it, I was beyond disappointed because I expected so much. However, i've been listening to it to see if it would grow on me and now I adore it, I absolutely LOVE the "I'll be wearing these scars for everyone to see" that's the type of stuff I love from Leona. So yeah all in all, i'm officially a proper fan post-X-Factor single. ^_^

i disagree :P i think she has the potential to do very well worlwide obviously not as well as Celine,Mariah etc but she could achive a quarter...... -_- but who knows its too early to tell ;)

No one can sell albums in the quantities that the Whitney's, Mariahs sold in the 80's/90's. That's just the way the market is now.

It will hopefully sell 1 million in the Uk but the only wy it'll do that is if the second single is really strong, i'm kinda worried that she might do badly as the first single is very good but it isn't fantastic.. take that will go to 1 and mcfly 2 as their new single is actually ok.. leona will end up at 3 and may climbe a few weeks down the line.. hopefully she can do well.. who knows if she performs on the XFactor before the single comes out physically it could go to number one on downloads.

Great to hear that! Loads of people who didn't immediately like it are changing their opinion the more they hear it. It's definitely a grower and I think that's one of the main reasons Sony BMG have released it on the net and to radio early before it can be bought so people can hear it more and it will hopefully grow on them.

McFly's new single is appalling. It isn't cheesy and poppy like their previous stuff. They've tried a different angle and it isn't radio-friendly or catchy at all. Plus, neither them or Take That have the advantage of performing their single on TV to 8-9million people the day before it's available to be downloaded.

They've all broken away from record labels, record music they wanna do.

3-4 million is asking alot from just UK and US. I dont think she'll try and crack Europe/Asia/Australia untill a second album, thats if she does make one. :D
