Play.com are listing the album release as Oct 8th. This has been recently revised from Sept 10th so it may be a realistic date.

 

US release could be November but Jennifer Hudson is also releasing Nov 19th as they are both on J records they may not want these to clash.

I was waiting to audition at bootcamp and the producer said to us all "Think About Your Future, Leona's Just Finished An Amazing Duet With Whitney Houston Herself, That Could Be You"

Well one thing is for certain, Leona will definitely outsing Whitney at this stage. In her hayday Whitney would have wiped the floor with her however...

 

I'm really looking forward to her album, the problem is that because this album has been hyped so much and had so much attention with how much money, time, producers, writers etc. is going into it I think people will be expecting something completely out of this world - and I really hope Leona can live up to the expectations.

The album has arrived at SONY/BMG and they have been listening to it. This is an email from Ged, the SONY chief executive to a contact,

 

"Hey ****, the Leona album is sounding AMAZING !!!... WE are in the process of confirming the date at the moment. I will keep you posted "

Leona just brings nothing new to the party, she is just a copycat of existing artists and has no stage presence or charisma and that will stifle her long term appeal

 

I still predict in 2 or 3 years time it will be a case of "Leona who ?"

I don't think so, Xtina is the only one who can be compared to Leona.

 

Leona can and HAS blown Celine off the stage - recently - in Las Vegas.

The reason being that Leona has a great voice unlike Will Young

She can go on to be a big international star like Kelly Clarkson unlike Will Young.

 

She also has great stage presence unlike Will Young.
