What with the Brit's got talent underage feet-tickling scandal ad with the Guinness Book of Hit Singles not coming out this year, my thought of the day is this.

 

why are all of Jonathan King's hits listed under one entry (like the Sound Of Shag and Father Abraphart??) and all the entries for dance producer psudenoms (for example, Norman Cook) listed separately, why should Jonathan King hits be given this treatment. shouldnt all of his acts be separated so it looks like he hasnt had all the hits under his name????

possibly because he was just himself being a prick... unlike other artists who record under different names to differentiate their different projects. norman cook for eg work was varied depending upon which project he was working on.

do you mean he called up the publishers and said "I'm the almighty Jonathan King and all my records are of such brilliance that they should all be listed under the greatness that is Jonathan King etc etc"

I'm sure in older editions his songs were listed separately, but can't be ars*d looking :rofl:

They used one of his hits "One For You One For Me" in a clip in tonight's TISWAS Reunited.
