Posted June 16, 200718 yr CHRIS Tarrant’s new quiz show The Great Pretender will have to be renamed after a row with Elvis Presley’s estate. We revealed this week that Chris is going up against Noel Edmonds with the quiz, shown at 5pm on ITV1 — the same time as Deal Or No Deal. But ITV and producers RDF were told they could not use the title of the Elvis hit. A source said: “The Elvis estate is very strict. “We can’t use the title — even if we could it would cost millions. We have to come up with something else.” Source : Sun online I can’t understand what’s going on as Elvis never recorded The Great Pretender  Apparently, according to Dave’s list he sang part of it at a live show on 1st April 1975 and that was the extent of his involvement with the song :)
