Thanks for your good wishes Megham, I also think its great if they are happy in their private life, that is after all the most important thing in life (imo).

I cant wait to see him on the Ice, but also worry, and have to say I love the show, but have always admired all the celebrities taken part in what could be quite dangerous after all.

The rumour is he is dancing with Maria who danced with Duncan James last year.

It will be great seeing him, and knowing he is happy. :cheer:

That's good. Both Darius and Gareth happy with their long term loves.

I so agree with you Megham. Both of them being so happy in their private relationships, is worth more than a million record sales imo.

I'm so happy for Gareth. Can't come back down to earth at the moment

I remember them saying that Darius and Gareth couldn't dance on PI. Well, Darius was incredible in 'Guys and Dolls' now it'll be Gareth's turn to show them. I must admit, I was not expecting too much from Darius' dancing but was amazed, he was as good as all the proffesionals.
Just adding. Darius' face when Natasha is around has me convinced that she's all he needs to be happy. They are both lucky to have found someone they love who loves them.

Congratulations to Gareth and Suzanne. Its is funny how both he and Darius have gone for the older woman. Suzanne is 32 and Gareth 23, Darius is 27 and Natasha is 32 I think.

when Darius does interviews when he is asked about Natasha the biggest smile creeps on to his face .

I wish them all the best

I dont think some years older dont matter, as long as they get on fine, Gareth and Darius seem very happy, and its lovely to know.
My brother and his wiofe are still very much together and they have the same age difference as D & N, apart from giving him something to torment her with, it's not made any difference to them.

My daughter is five years older than her husband but you would think she was younger.

Is anyone going to watch DOI on Sunday?

There are quite a few threads about Gareth including links to some interviews in the DOI forum on digitalspy. I'm not sure if it's OK to put the actual links here.

I probably will end up watching, never seems to be anything on the other side - we watched the last one, and strictly dancing
Is it repeated ? Sundays, I'm always out for dinner and my VCR isn't linked up to the TV. I'd tried to connect it to the freeview box, got all mixed up and then forgot how I'd had it connected to the other TV with the sky box. I'm obviously not making one of the links to get the whole system to work properly. I just gave up. Too many co axial cables and scart leads to contend with.

I won't be able to go to watch unfortunately, but will be watching on TV. Gareth has just posted a blog on his site. Bless him he's very nervous about Sunday. From the video clips I've seen though he seems to be doing quite well. Not as well as Chris Fountain though. He looks as though he's very good.

Good Luck to Gareth

I'm not sure it's fair to have Chris Fountain, an ice hockey player for Bradford or Greg Rudeski(sp?), who probably has skated since he was young given that he's Canadian, in the same line up as other celebrities who are just learning to skate and have to concentrate to stay balanced.
I don't know. Both Chris and Greg say what they've done before is completely different to Dancing On Ice. And Suzanne Shaw is supposed to be very good and she's never skated before in her life. As long as Gareth makes it through a few weeks I'll be happy.
