February 9, 200817 yr I bet 'Thriller' would be good. I'll just have to wait and see. In a way, I think Thriller shouldn't be given to any individual couple. It's the visual impact of the video which everyone remembers. I think any couple who get it will have a huge advantage in designing a routine with impact. IMHO everybody or no-one should get Thriller to dance to.

February 9, 200817 yr Do you know they did a study once and they found that spelling wasn't important, most people could easily read text with jumbled or missing letters. I'm old fashioned I just don't like text language English but then I'm so old fashioned I prefer the King James' version of the bible to the four or five modern editions which have followed. Maybe Michael jackson's albums will go up the charts after tomorrow's DOI show.

February 11, 200817 yr He's such a lovely caring person. I think what happened with Maria affected him such a lot. They left out the lift which they fell on. Perhaps they'll do it later in the series, if he stays in. I still really enjoyed the performance though. Its been announced this morning that Gareth will be going on the DOI tour which starts in April. Thank goodness I got tickets on the off-chance :dance:
February 11, 200817 yr I think the falls will show people Gareth's personality more than anything else. He was just so upst to have hurt his partner. Awful to say but, those falls may finally make people realise the type of man he's grown into.

February 11, 200817 yr I think you could be right Meg. He's always been like that, but people just couldn't, or wouldn't see past their first impression of a star-struck teenage kid.
February 11, 200817 yr is the same in life, its not when things are going right you find out a persons strength, but their reaction when its not going right. only caught the end of SOI this week - that Chris can really move on the ice though!!

February 11, 200817 yr I still think that Chris being an ice hockey player just hasn't had the problems of the others. He was already at home on ice skates
February 11, 200817 yr yes, indeed - the owmen also have it easier, most seem to be relying on lifts and being held by the hands by the professional, the men have to lead, do lifts and the can't really cling on to the partner. same with strictly dancing, the men do have the harder task
February 11, 200817 yr Gareth was excellent on Sunday and we got a little moon walk on ice. It's great that he's going on the tour.
