I think that's what made the show so special. The interaction between the people on it.

I think the huge success of PI, robbed the following series of that innocence, with the possible exception of the first series of Fame Academy.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing Gareth's wedding pictures. I might even break out and buy OK.

I'm still in the habit of buying a magazine if I'm travelling any distance. Usually i buy a general women's monthly like Prima. I don't often even cast my eye over the front pages of heat etc. now.

 

At least OK is reasonable quality paper, has still got a bit of reading in it and there are a couple ofother throwaways included for the price.

 

So many of the others are like infant readers - huge pictures and a couple of sentences, if you're lucky.

I can get a book cheaper - so I usually do that.

When I came to GWTW Iwas in trouble with one of my grandaughters because I forgot her Heat magazine, not because of its content, but because of its 'in' TV advert......'going to London to buy Heat magazine'. I've never noticed the ad, but it seems to have caught on around here.

I've never heard of that advert, Bramley, but then I don't watch much TV at all nowadays and I can't remember when I last listened to the radio.

It probably wouldn't register with me - I use ads as time to get up and do something.

I think the last time I listened to radio was that time Darius had done a little ad for GWTW for Classic FM and I listened for hours without hearing it.

 

I'm a 'flicker' during the adverts, either checking out the headlines etc. on the red button on Sky News or the on screen TV guide.

I'm a definate get up and leave.

I hope the players all play fair in this and no-one gets injured. ( fat chance - it's football, more serious than life or death to some)

 

Gareth should be OK. He's a big guy and he's obviously played a lot of football and enjoys it.

 

I can remember seeing him in daily video snippets about the time of his second single just before Darius released Colourblind and he always seemed to be playing keepie up or practising footie skills when he got a spare moment.

 

It's always good to have a hobby not connected to your job. A way of breaking away from it.

I think it probably helps to keep one's feet on the ground and in touch with who one is in a seemingly crazy world.

I think their partners do that a lot.

Suzanne has always seemed a really lovely young woman and they look very much in love.

I think it depends which part of the country you are. Most places its Tuesday, but some don't get it until Wednesday.
