Just watching Gareth on the AT show. He comes across as such a really lovely person. He's just sung Close Every Door and it was fantastic. I think I preferred it to Lee Mead's version. Would love to see him if I lived nearer to London. Sue
Hi Sue, I just watched it too (had to tape in being in work when the show was on), and I could not agree more with you. I listened to Lee's version, and of course its good, but I think Gareth's version is so full of emotion, it was fantastic. :cheer:

I absolutely loved both the song and the interview. I'm so pleased you preferred it to Lee's version. Obviously I do too, but that would be pretty obvious, although I do like Lee's one too. I'm being very greedy now and saying I wish he could have sung Any Dream Will Do as well

Went to see the show twice over the weekend and the theatre was packed both times. Got to meet Gareth too and have a picture taken with him :cheer:

No I didn't know it was on Meg, just a coincidence that the TV was on in the background and I heard them mention Gareth's name. Very glad I caught it though. I agree Hasso, it's the emotion in Gareth's version of Close Every Door that makes it so special. Glad you met Gareth Val4Jadan and had a photo taken. Sue
Thank you hasso. I look forward to it as soon as I walk the dog (he wont wait any longer)

hehe, know what you mean, I have 3 of the little (or large as in one case) darlings. :D

Only one dog left and I don't know how long we'll have him.

The first pop idol did produce 3 wonderful singers. Whether you like their types of voices doesn't really matter. I enjoyed that very much. Gareth comes over as a good actor as well while he's singing.

Thanks for saying that about Gareth Meghan.

So sorry to hear about your doggie, I know what it is like.

I don't think I'd have the stamina to get another one if he dies. It just upsets me so much - and Dane is only 10.
Aww try not to worry Meg,Dane might have afew more years left in him still,he sounds like a little fighter (hug)

I can understand, it is really upsetting, they are part of the family after all.

I think that is a reason why I have more at different ages, I know how upset I am always when its time for my dogs, I lost 3 of them in about 1 yr interval but they were all age 15 and had a good life which was a little comfort. And It helped having the others still to look after and walk.

My dogs now are 12, 2 1/2 and the biggest 18 mths.

At the time we may have got another dog, my father-in-law moved in and he was 96 so we waited. He only had a few months to live. He died a few weeks before his 101 birthday and we couldn't think about getting another dog. Dane's epilepsy means that he couldn't cope with a strange animal in the house.
